A councillor has proposed to build a -style wall to keep hipsters out of the area after a flurry of 'frivolous' complaints about parking. 

Councillor Julie Passas' tongue-in-cheek motion suggested passports be made mandatory for people to access the Inner West Council and a 'mobility tax' be applied on those passing through the area.  

She made the motion after becoming fed up with new residents wanting 'rock star' parking outside their homes.
