This is the brazen moment of disrespect a Union Flag is burned outside the Houses of Parliament during yesterday's Momentum-backed protest against Boris Johnson.

Standing in the heart of Westminster, two 'twisted and warped' Remain activists were last night caught setting fire to a souvenir British flag in front of horrified witnesses. 

Timur Coskun, 22, was walking in Parliament Square with a friend when he spotted the pair trying to ignite the Union Flag with a lighter.

The Cambridge student, who filmed the video, told MailOnline: 'There was a bit of a commotion on one side of the square and we saw a few people from the Remain campaign with a souvenir flag.

'When we saw they were trying to light it, we couldn't believe it. 

'It's the most provocative thing you could do and in the most provocative place.'

He added: 'It was about 7.30 and the protest was drawing to a
