Standing in the heart of Westminster, two 'twisted and warped' Remain activists were last night caught setting fire to a souvenir British flag in front of horrified witnesses.
Timur Coskun, 22, was walking in Parliament Square with a friend when he spotted the pair trying to ignite the Union Flag with a lighter.
The Cambridge student, who filmed the video, told MailOnline: 'There was a bit of a commotion on one side of the square and we saw a few people from the Remain campaign with a souvenir flag.
'When we saw they were trying to light it, we couldn't believe it.
'It's the most provocative thing you could do and in the most provocative place.'
