A man who stabbed his 24-year-old ex-partner in the spine has been jailed for life, as Thames Valley Police faces an investigation over how it handled the woman's pleas.
Jordan Anderson, 30, stalked his ex Aleah Masih before knifing her 15 times outside a Co-op supermarket in Oxford while her five-year-old daughter clung to her hand on March 12.
He was jailed for a minimum of 13 years and seven months after being convicted of attempted murder at Oxford Crown Court. He also admitted carrying a knife in a public place and stalking involving fear or violence.
