Suspected killer: Wei Hu, 40

A father who is believed to have killed his estranged wife infront of their eight-year-old son has been pictured for the first time. 

Wei Hu, 40, is suspected of killing his 36-year-old partner and himself in a murder suicide in Melbourne on Saturday.

The library technician is thought to have stabbed the woman to death inside a car with their son in the back seat. 

The boy ran to get help from neighbours before Hu was found dead at the scene.

Witnesses described how the brave boy knocked on doors. 

'He ran here and knocked on my door, banged on my door to get help,' one told the Herald Sun.

'He got help from somebody. Somebody rang triple zero and looked after him until the police came.'
