The frequent pressure to upgrade phones every year to the latest model can prove taxing on the wallet.

So rather than buy the new iPhone 11, these creative characters have enhanced their old mobiles on the cheap - and posted the hilarious results online.

All the tweaks revolve around the smartphone's new triple rear camera, which features on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.

Apple has said the addition allows customers to take better photos than ever, yet among some people it has been ridiculed.

It is not the first complaint Apple have had to handle over the cameras.

It emerged last week that people with a fear of small holes were complaining that the new iPhone 11 Pro's three cameras, torch and microphone hole was triggering their 'trypophobia'.

The condition causes disgust in sufferers and it is thought it may have evolved from an aversion to visible signs of disease or venomous animals.
