Jacinda Ardern has responded to a 13-year-old girl who sent her a letter complaining the government banned the rifles she used to compete in sport shooting.

In a letter penned to the New Zealand Prime Minister, the 13-year-old said she was frustrated over the ban that was implemented earlier this year.
