A man and a woman who were charged over a brawl at an AFL game have clashed with the media after a court appearance.

Natelle Martine Hogg and Bill Brian Neville Fitzgerald have both been charged with aggravated assault over the incident in the grandstand at the match between the Adelaide Crows and Essendon on July 19 at the Adelaide Oval. 

Ugly scenes erupted outside Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday when the pair clashed with TV reporters and other media.

They hurled abuse and were seen punching and pushing reporters and grabbing at cameras and other equipment.
