Hungry Jack's and top scientists have teamed up to create a vegan Whopper.  

CSIRO and the burger joint launched The Rebel Whopper on Thursday.

The patty is made from a mixture of legumes, sunflower and coconut oils and the chain claims it still has the smokey BBQ flavour of the famous beef Whopper.
