State police in Pennsylvania spent Wednesday afternoon trying to figure out the cause of a fatal van accident that left three people dead and eight more injured.

The victims were all riding in a 10-passenger van that crashed around 2.27pm and rolled over on U.S. Route 1 at mile marker 18.3, just north of Newark Road in New Garden Township, a community southeast Pennsylvania community about 36 miles west of Philadelphia, according to WPVI-TV.
