A masked yob was caught on camera throwing a lit firework into a pizza store that ended up leaving a 12-year-old girl with burns.

The footage was recorded at a Domino's store in Binley, Coventry, last night.

In the video, a group of hooded figures walk toward the store as the camera pans down to show a bag full of fireworks.

One of the young men, dressed in all black, stands with his back to the door while he ignites one of the fuses.

His friends can be heard in the background laughing and egging him on, saying 'light it, light it'.

Another shouts: 'Oh my god he's throwing it in there.'

The yob then launches the firework across the shop toward the counter before he and his friends all sprint away.

A customer inside can be seen running toward the door in a bid to escape the blast as workers shield their heads.

The video ends shortly after.
