A Greek backpacker has tried to secure employment on a farm in Australia by listing his skills online alongside photos of himself. 

In a Facebook post, Lukas Giakintzis asked about starting his farm work in order to obtain a longer Australian working holiday visa.

The 26-year-old, who is half Greek and half German, said he is 'full of positive energy and a great work ethic', and is more than ready to start physical labour.

Mr Giakintzis is seeking accommodation and a 'warm, friendly environment' in exchange for three months of his hard work and undivided attention.
