Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson, who has recalled her most memorable travel adventures
So where is the Lib Dem leader's dream destination and what is her favourite foreign city?
Here Jo Swinson talks about a disastrous Italian road trip, her favourite part of Scotland and if she would go on holiday with her political rivals...
What’s your earliest holiday memory?
My parents would pack us children in the back of the car and drive us all the way down from Glasgow to Cornwall overnight. It was a long drive, but worth it, and I have many happy memories of playing on the beach.
First trip abroad?
Going to Menorca when I was seven years old — all I remember is splashing about in the pool, but doing so gave me a lot more confidence as a swimmer.
