A teenage girl was shot in the chest on Friday night in Chicago after she tried to steal a woman's dog, authorities say.
The Chicago Police Department said in a press release that the unidentified minor was meeting with Araceli Diaz, 21, around 5.45pm in the 2300 block of South Drake Avenue to 'conduct a sale.'
When Diaz communicated that the price for the animal would be $800, the girl reportedly brandished a pellet
