A radio host who lost her husband to cancer after her first husband took his own life is taking her three sons to India to remind them 'how lucky they are'.
Robin Bailey, 50, resigned from her breakfast radio post at Triple M Brisbane in September to spend as much time as possible with her husband, Sean Pickwell.
Just weeks later the 56-year-old died in his wife's arms at their home in Brisbane.
Ms Bailey announced on Instagram she would be taking her sons to India this week to 'reconnect' after a difficult five years.
She said she is still trying to 'push forward through [my] grief' after losing her 'soulmate' earlier this year.
'I've never been loved like that and neither has he. For whatever reason I was the person to take him on that journey, I know that,' she said in an interview with Today.
'It's just we prepared so much for his death, we just didn't really prepare for my life afterwards.'
Ms Bailey shared this photo and said she was heading to India to reconnect with her three sons
