SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Universal Technical Institute Inc. (UTI) on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $5.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had profit of 9 cents per share.
The school for auto, motorcycle and marine technicians posted revenue of $87.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $7.9 million, or 52 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $331.5 million.

Universal Technical shares have climbed 69% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $6.16, an increase of 91% in the last 12 months.
