Rob Reiner accused President ’s Republican supporters of aligning themselves with white supremacists while ‘making a pact’ with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

‘Every elected Republican knows that this President is guilty of countless Impeachable offenses,’ the acclaimed director, 72, tweeted on Saturday.

‘But they, along with many White Evangelicals & White Supremacists have made a pact with Putin.

‘But unlike a pact with the Devil, this one can be unsigned.’

It is unclear what ‘pact’ Reiner is referring to. Democrats and their supporters have accused of being too friendly with the Russian president.

‘Meathead’ is the derogatory term that Reiner’s character was often called on All in the Family, the 1970s sitcom which also starred Carroll O’Connor and Jean Stapleton.

In the show, Reiner played Michael ‘Meathead’ Stivic, a 1960s liberal hippie who was at odds with father-in-law Archie Bunker, who was played by O’Connor.

Trump supporters on Twitter attacked Reiner. One of them wrote: 'The lights are on but nobody is home, Rob. Chill.'
