A woman who was allegedly murdered by her Captain America actress daughter has been remembered as kind and generous as she was laid to rest at her funeral service.

Mollie Fitzgerald, 38, is charged with stabbing her 68-year-old mother Patricia 'Tee' Fitzgerald to death in Olathe, Kansas last month.

Fitzgerald remains in prison and was not present at her mother's funeral at the Divine Mercy Parish in Gardner on Friday.

The order of service, which included an image of Patricia on the front, made no mention of her daughter.

Patricia 'Tee' Fitzgerald, 68, was laid to rest in Kansas on Friday after being stabbed to death allegedly by her actress daughter Mollie Fitzgerald on December 20 

It said she was survived by her husband of 46 years Terry Fitzgerald, her two brothers and a sister.

'Tee was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she was always helping people and animals in need,' the order of service read.

'She loved sports and was an avid tennis player and was a huge fan of the Rockets and the NBA.

'Tee leaves countless friends in several states who will miss her dearly everyday.

Patricia was raised on a farm in Missouri and went on to graduate from the University of Missouri with a degree in physical therapy.
