Florida boy, nine, is charged with attempted murder after he stabbed his five-year-old SISTER with a kitchen knife when their mom left the house to get the mail A nine-year-old Florida boy has been charged with trying to kill his five-year-old sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife on January 28 The boy was charged Tuesday with attempted first-degree murder On Wednesday his attorney entered a not guilty plea   When asked why the boy stabbed his sister, he said the thought of killing his sister entered his head two days ago and he couldn't get it out of his head  The children's mother said she went out of the house to get the mail and returned and saw her son stabbing her daughter in a bedroom

A nine-year-old Florida boy has been charged with trying to kill his five-year-old sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife last month, officials said. 

On January 28 the boy charged at his younger sister in their family's Ocala apartment when their mother left the home to get the mail and to get some candy for her kids from a neighbor. 

When she returned she said she found the boy stabbing his sister with a kitchen knife in a bedroom. 

'Die, die!' the mother recalled her son saying, according to the affidavit. 

The child told investigators he thought of killing his sister two days before the stabbing, Ocala police said.
