A Coles shopper in Australia has been left outraged after discovering the supermarket charges $175/kg for prepackaged chillies.

The angry shopper vented on the supermarket's Facebook page about the 'exorbitant price' of the product.

Meanwhile, the unpackaged variety of the same chillies are only $28 a kilo - which is $148 a kilo less.
