A Range Rover driver who mowed down a pedestrian leaving them with cuts and bruises has been jailed for three years.

Shocking CCTV footage shows the 30-year-old victim being hit by the vehicle as it drives onto the pavement and slams into a newsagents in Lowestoft, Suffolk. 

Duane Manchester, 32, from Lowestoft, who was behind the wheel, has also been banned from the roads for 18 months. He was convicted of causing actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and criminal damage at Ipswich Crown Court yesterday.

Manchester and the victim were known to each other.
