New South Wales records 13 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Thai restaurant in Sydney's hipster heartland at centre of new coronavirus cluster as NSW records 13 new cases and alerts go out for busy Kmart, Coles, Aldi and BWS stores

New South Wales has recorded 13 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday as a Thai restaurant in Newtown becomes the latest cluster. 

Of the 13 new cases to 8pm on Monday night, two are returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

The other 11 cases are locally acquired and linked to known clusters, including seven  connected to the August CBD cluster. 

There is now a total of 41 cases associated with the CBD cluster.
