A yellow Lamborghini has been seized by police after it was clocked several times flying through the streets as fast as 124km/h.

Three people were hit with fines after they were caught speeding in the car on three separate occasions in the Gold Coast between August 22 and August 28.

The three drivers will all lose their licenses for six months, police say.

Police swooped on the luxury car that was being kept in a Paradise Point apartment on September 22.

The average price of a Lamborghini starts from around $200,000.
