A man wanted for the 2016 murder of a teenager at a little league baseball field in Long Island was arrested in Maryland and extradited to New York.
Homicide Squad detectives from the Suffolk County police arrested Carlos López-Campos on Monday in Owings Mills with assistance of U.S. Marshals Service, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
López-Campos, 26, was charged killing Estiven Abrego Gómez, 18, at Greenlawn Park.
Carlos López-Campos was apprehended Monday in Owings Mills, Maryland, by cops from Suffolk County, U.S. Marshalls and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The 26-year-old is accused of murdering 18-year-old Estiven Abrego Gómez in August 2016
