Prince Andrew wore a face covering today as he was seen for the first time since bombshell Ghislaine Maxwell files were released on Thursday.

It comes as Maxwell's family claimed she has been treated 'vindictively' and 'cruelly' by prison guards - leading to a bid to free her from jail.

The Duke of York was seen talking animatedly with a passenger as he drove his Range Rover away from his home in Windsor this morning.

On Thursday, a 418-page document was released detailing how Maxwell admitted she had an intimate relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

In the bombshell 2016 deposition she refused to discuss their sex life as she dodged questions about orgies, underage girls and Prince Andrew.

It was today claimed the heiress, 58, lost 25lbs in weight after going without food for 20 hours and being improperly fed, reported The Telegraph.

As part of 'Operation GGO', a get Ghislaine out of jail campaign, public relations veteran Brian Basham is claiming her treatment in a New York prison is against her human rights. He has offered his services to the family for free.

He told the newspaper: 'She is unable to talk to her sisters and their letters are being vindictively not given to her. She is a vegan and she is not getting the proper nutrition.

'She has lost 25lbs in jail but when she complained they took away her weighing machine so she could not weigh herself.'

She was arrested at her home in New Hampshire in July.

Maxwell is apparently forced to wear clothes made of paper and has even been denied a bra because she is believed to be at risk of suicide.

And prison guards have stopped talking to her, Mr Basham said, meaning she is in isolation in her 9ft by 7ft cell.

Maxwell was denied bail despite her lawyers offering up a $5million (£4million) bond because she is believed to be a flight risk. Her lawyers argue she had three passports at the time of her arrest yet she had chosen to stay in the US.

She denies all six counts relating to child sex trafficking and procurement and perjury.

In desposition documents released Thursday, it was revealed Maxwell repeatedly lashed out against alleged victim Virginia Giuffre's lawyers, tried to object to questioning and at one point pounded
