Ten members of the Australian Defence Force have been dismissed in the wake of the bombshell Afghan war crimes report.
The elite soldiers who were stood down are members of the Special Air Services' now disbanded 2 Squadron, which was implicated in the Brereton war crimes report which was made public last week.

They are not among the 19 people Justice Brereton recommended be referred to Federal Police for further investigation.
'Defence can confirm it has initiated administrative action against a number of serving Australian Defence Force personnel in accordance with legislation and Defence policy,' a spokesperson told the ABC.
