Cindy McCain slammed fellow Republicans on Sunday for being hung up on the 2020 presidential election, claiming continued probes into the outcome are 'ludicrous'.
'The election is over,' McCain told CNN's Jake Tapper on 'State of the Union' Sunday morning. 'Biden won. I know many of them don't like the outcome. But, you know, elections have consequences.'
Her comments come after former President Donald Trump launched into a rant at his Mar-a-Lago resort Thursday claiming Arizona will be the first state to overturn its election results in his favor.
'This does not surprise me,' McCain said of her home state's recounting efforts. 'You know, things are just aloof and crazy out there right now in regards to the election.'
