An Australian cyclist is lucky to be alive after a near-miss with a car when he fell over the handlebars of his bike into the vehicle's path while flying around the corner.

The driver is forced to slam on the brakes after the male cyclist, who isn't wearing a helmet, turns without stopping, loses control and falls off his bike in front of the car.
The cyclist, who appears shaken but not badly injured, gets up seconds later rubbing his head before retrieving his bike.
A concerned woman approaches the cyclist to check that he's okay while the driver inspects for any potential damage at the front of his vehicle.
