Bunnings is giving away thousands of free trees to residents across Greater Sydney looking to activate their green thumb this winter.
The NSW Government has partnered with the retailer as part of the Greening our City initiative to give eager gardeners the chance to snag one of 26,500 trees.
Residents across 33 local government areas will have the opportunity to pick up their leafy freebie from a participating Bunnings Warehouse from June to October.
After overwhelming response to the first drop, there are currently no trees available - with the offer set to start again in early July.
