A CBS meteorologist has been fired after she interrupted her live forecast to accuse her bosses of discriminating against her for questioning COVID-19 policies and 'segregating' her because she isn't vaccinated.

April Moss, 38, first dropped the bombshell while delivering the weather forecast for Detroit's CBS affiliate WWJ-TV on Sunday night.

Moss, who has been with the network for a decade, told viewers that she would be sitting down with Project Veritas to reveal the 'discrimination CBS is enforcing upon its employees'.

In the subsequent interview with Project Veritas that aired on Tuesday night, the mother-of-four claimed CBS was discriminating against employees who had questioned protocols, including mask wearing.

She also accused CBS of pressuring unvaccinated employees into getting the vaccine and that the company was 'segregating coworkers' based on their vaccine status.

Moss said she had been complying with the company's policy to be tested weekly for COVID throughout the pandemic because she was among the 20 people who were deemed essential and were still coming into the studio.

She said she complied because she didn't want to lose her job.

'CBS actually started to ask for access to data from the lab where we were getting our COVID testing. I, of course, checked no. They do not need to know my personal COVID testing information. That to me, felt like an overreach,' Moss said.

When Michigan Gov Gretchen Whitmer announced last month that vaccinated residents no longer needed to wear a mask indoors, Moss said she contacted CBS to say she no longer wanted to comply with weekly testing.

Moss shared an email response that detailed the company's policy that unvaccinated employees were still required to wear masks inside the building.

'Essentially what that's saying is that you're an essential employee, we really want you to get vaccinated. You're setting a standard within the workplace already of segregating coworkers and I should not be discriminated against,' Moss said.

'This issue is not just about me. I'm watching our whole nation suffer because they're put underneath these policies that are enacted by corporations and this is a human rights issue.

'Every American and every person on earth has the right to breathe fresh air.

'To segregate someone is completely inhumane.'

Moss claimed that her unvaccinated status was being made clear to employees and viewers because she was not broadcasting from the studio and is always on air from her house
