An ex-model has made an unlikely name for herself as a competitive eater, gauging on a full KFC Family Feast in under 20 minutes in a recent video. 

Nala Zisser, 26, from New Zealand, has been trying her hand at eating competitions for about five years - claiming she has munched her way through tonnes of food. 

The video uploaded to her YouTube channel last Thursday shows Ms Zisser seated at a table in front of the pile of food which contains ten chicken pieces, a large plain gravy, large fries, a large coleslaw, and a two-litre Fanta soda.

The feast weighs in at a whopping 7,141 calories and is enough to feed a family of six, Ms Zisser - at 170cm tall and 55kg - said. 

'I can't wait to eat it, my game plan is to finish as quickly as possible. I'm going to start with a piece of chicken,' the model says before chomping on a chicken drumstick. 

She then moves onto the chips 'while they're still hot' but let's viewers in on one of the tricks of the trade.
