Two women and a man are arrested for 'beating and choking police officer' who confronted them for driving through a stop sign in Illinois Jennifer Taylor, 24; Sheba Taylor, 26; and Paul Sherrod, 28, were arrested on charges of beating and strangling a police officer in Aurora on Monday night The officer had stopped the trio's car after it drove through a stop sign  They shouted at the officers and ignored his orders to get back in the car before chasing him down and attacking him  The officer was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries

Two women and one man were arrested for allegedly beating and choking a police officer after he pulled their car over for driving through a stop sign in Illinois.  

Jennifer Taylor, 24; Sheba Taylor, 26; and Paul Sherrod, 28, are each facing charges of aggravated battery, resisting or obstructing a police officer causing injury and aggravated assault of a peace officer, according to The Aurora Police Department.

The attack unfolded on Monday during a traffic stop after the unidentified police officer watched the group's car ignore a stop sign near West Aurora High School at about 10.30pm.

Sherrod was driving the vehicle and pulled into a driveway before he began shouting at the officer, police said. 

One of the female passengers then got out of the car and approached the officer, who ordered her to get back inside multiple times before informing her that she was under arrest for obstructing police. 

Public Information Officer Paris Lewbel stated that moments later Sherrod also exited the vehicle, continued yelling obscenities, and started
