Socialite Jasmine Hartin is arrested AGAIN while reporting to a Belizean police ...

This was the moment socialite Jasmine Hartin was dramatically re-arrested just hours after breaking her silence to tell DailyMail.com of her horror at 'accidentally' killing a top Belizean cop.

Hartin, 32, who is awaiting trial for shooting Superintendent Henry Jemmott with his own service pistol, was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon when she reported to a police station as part of her daily bail requirements.

Amid chaotic scenes at the San Ignacio police station, the mother-of-two pleaded with officers that she had done nothing wrong before being led away to face the prospect of returning to a grim Belizean prison.

The details of the charge were not immediately clear but it comes after Hartin clashed with her partner Andrew Ashcroft, the son of Britain's Lord Ashcroft, on Tuesday afternoon when she tried to see their four-year-old twins Elle and Charlie.

Hartin had filmed on her cell phone as she cornered her partner of seven years in a hotel restaurant, repeatedly asking him: 'Why won't you let me see the kids Andrew? Why won't you let me see the children?'

She later told DailyMail.com that she was warned by her attorney that authorities would seek to revoke her bail over the confrontation that happened at the swank Alaia Belize resort in San Pedro island, which she operated with Andrew before Jemmot's death.

'I'm being detained for something in San Pedro. I'm not sure why,' a stunned Hartin called out to DailyMail.com from behind the front desk

That's exactly what happened as she arrived for her daily check-in appointment, with her mom Candice Castiglione looking on in disbelief.

'I'm being detained for something in San Pedro. I'm not sure why,' a stunned Hartin called out to DailyMail.com from behind the front desk.

'This is illegal, I'm being detained illegally right now. I don't know what this charge is. It's an unknown charge from someone in San Pedro. I have no idea why I'm being held.

'All I did was try to collect my personal belongings and see my children. I have obeyed every single court order. I have done absolutely nothing wrong here.'

Video shot by DailyMail.com reveals Hartin begging to know what she had done to breach her $30,000 Belizean dollar bail ($15,000 US).

An officer replies: 'According to San Pedro Police you're detained for common assault.' Asked whom she was accused of assaulting the officer adds: 'I cannot comment.'

Hartin is now likely to be taken back to austere Hattieville Prison, which once featured on the Netflix documentary 'Inside the World's Toughest Prisons.'

She spent eight days there before being bailed on June 9 when she was warned by a judge she could be thrown back behind bars unless she signed in with police daily and handed over her ID and passport.

'Being in prison is easier than being away from my children. I would go to prison every day if it meant I could have my kids,' Hartin added before she was led away to a cell.

'This is horrible. The worst thing that he's ever done to me is take my kids,' she added in an apparent reference to Andrew Ashcroft.

Hartin’s mom Candice Castiglione, 66, had flown in from Ontario to support her daughter and was with her when she tried to see her children Tuesday.

She told DailyMail.com she was baffled by the
