Sydney socialite Shari-Lea Hitchcock has again taken out a restraining order against her boyfriend Dallen Alexander Nichols.

Hitchcock, 50, is best known as the former mistress of deceased billionaire cardboard king Richard Pratt.

The horse trainer's boyfriend was issued an interim apprehended violence order (AVO) by NSW Police following an alleged incident on the NSW south coast.

Nichols, 43, faced Nowra Local Court on July 2, with the matter adjourned until August 6.
