Australia has donated $12million to Covid-ravaged Indonesia, with the nation on its knees due to a surge in infections and hospitals at breaking point.

Additionally, Australia has pledged to pass on 700 oxygen concentrators, 170 oxygen cylinders, 40,000 testing kits as well as 2.5 million AstraZeneca vaccine doses.
'We stand with our close partner and neighbour Indonesia as it responds to a significant surge in Covid cases,' Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne said in a statement on Wednesday.
