Last year in lockdown supermarkets had to limit essential items such as rice and milk but in 2021 locals seem to be indulging on home-delivery while unable to venture out. Restaurants such as the exclusive Catalina in Rose Bay have seen their takeaway sales soar with the cafe's $555 lobster box a popular choice. For your money you get one Sydney rock lobster, eight king prawns, a dozen Sydney rock oysters, and an entire fully dressed mud crab delivered by one of the restaurant's professional hospitality staff. Suckling pig roasts costing $140 are also a hit with other top sellers including market fish with mash and caper butter at $39, seafood risotto also at $39 and wagyu burgers with maple bacon at $26. You can also order cocktails-to-go with an espresso martini setting you back $19 for 100ml or $140 for 700ml. Catalina's lobster box is also a hit at $555 with Sydney locals splurging on home-delivery The Apollo's lamb shoulder is also a hit with Sydney residents for a takeaway treat 'The interesting thing is with us it's the luxury stuff.
