An Australian Olympic diver with a huge social media following has revealed the assortment of goodies passed onto competing athletes ahead of the upcoming Tokyo Games.
Sydney based Sam Fricker, 19, who will strive for gold in the 10m platform event, uploaded a number of clips on TikTok offering a behind the scenes look into what elite competitors are generously provided.
From an assortment of Australian chocolate favourites including Tim Tams and Caramello Koalas, to face masks and even Olympic limited edition Dunlop Volleys footwear, those special few chosen to compete in green and gold on the highest stage don't go without.
And in keeping with Covid times, hand sanitiser and wipes were key items in the kit.
Naturally a jar of Vegemite, the stable of countless Australian households, was also included in the pack alongside some temporary tattoos featuring the nation's iconic flag.
