Shamed former Doctor Who actor Noel Clarke is facing further allegations of sexual harassment after more women came forward with claims against him.

In April, Clarke, 45, apologised 'deeply' for his actions and said he will be seeking professional help after 20 women accused him of sexual harassment, groping and bullying.

The actor and producer said it was clear that 'some of my actions have affected people in ways I did not intend or realise', though he 'vehemently' denied sexual misconduct or criminal behaviour.

Now, the Metropolitan Police has revealed that a 'number of other women' have come forward with allegations against the star.

'All of the incidents are currently being assessed by officers. There is no criminal investigation at this time.'

Clarke, who is married to former make-up artist Iris Da Silva with three children, wrote and starred in the acclaimed film trilogy Kidulthood, Adulthood and Brotherhood as well as many TV hits including Doctor Who.

He has been accused of a range of inappropriate activities, including sexual harassment, unwanted touching or groping, sexually inappropriate behaviour and comments on set, professional misconduct, taking and sharing sexually explicit pictures and videos without consent, and bullying.
