Victoria records another 10 coronavirus cases but is due to end lockdown TONIGHT as all were in isolation while infectious – but what will freedom look like? By Charlotte Karp For Daily Mail Australia Published: 00:20 BST, 27 July 2021 | Updated: 00:27 BST, 27 July 2021 Viewcomments Victoria has recorded another 10 cases of Covid-19, just hours before millions of people are due to exit lockdown. The fresh cases were reported by state health authorities on Tuesday morning, but all new infections were in isolation throughout their infectious period. Stay-at-home orders are set to ease from 11.59pm tonight, but a host of tough restrictions will remain to try and stop further Covid infections. The details were hashed out in a meeting late on Monday night, with officials agreeing to get rid of the 5km travel rule and reopen schools, shops and gyms. Pubs, restaurants and cafes can also reopen, but will have to limit customers to either 25 or 50 people indoors at any one time. Details are yet to be finalised but sources say Victorians will once again be allowed to gather in groups of 10.
