Justin Trudeau sends Biden a package of 'smoked meat sandwiches' for winning their Stanley Cup final wager between Tampa and Montreal Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed Friday that he would be sending President Joe Biden 'a package of Montreal smoked meat sandwiches' Trudeau owed Biden after the two world leaders made a wager on the outcome of this year's Stanley Cup  The U.S. team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, beat the Canadian team, the Montreal  Canadiens, in game five, winning back-to-back championships Trudeau admitted it took him 23 days to announce what he would send Biden because he needed some time to recover from the 'heartbreaking' outcome  'I know losing isn’t easy, but thanks for following through with your end of the wager,' Biden tweeted

Tampa took out the Montreal Canadiens in game five, scoring only one goal in order to take home Lord Stanley.
