The Auslan interpreter who has become a cult figure at Queensland's Covid updates has been forced into 14 days of quarantine.
Mike Webb, whose man bun and maroon suit have become distinctive fixtures at Queensland's Covid updates throughout the pandemic, visited Indooroopilly State High School last week.
The school is at the centre of the state's worst Covid outbreak since last year, now numbering 79 cases after 16 new locally acquired cases were announced on Thursday.
'I was at the Indooroopilly State High school expo last week, and it's now been declared a hotspot so I'm stuck at home,' Webb told ABC Brisbane on Thursday morning.
'I am vaccinated and I was due to get my second jab on Friday but now I need to seek further advice if I can leave my house on Friday to go and do that.'
