An aggressive anti-vaxxer who filmed himself screaming at deputy chief medical officer Professor Jonathan Van-Tam in the street in scenes which shocked the country has been let off by police, Mail Online has learned.
Geza Tarjanyi, 60, of Leyland, Lancashire, targeted Professor Van-Tam as he walked into the Ministry of Defence building in June.
The disturbing scenes caused widespread public anger and were later condemned by the Prime Minister.
Police will take no action against anti-vaxxer Geza Tarjanyi (left) who accused Professor Jonathan Van-Tam (right) of 'genocide' and lying in aggressive video confrontation
Disturbed Tarjanyi, a one-time family entertainer now turned into a full time conspiracy theorist, filmed himself yelling abuse at Jonathan Van-Tam while accusing him of 'genocide' and lying to Britons.
He also asked him 'what was really in that needle that you put into Matt Hancock', in relation to Professor Van-Tam giving the then Health Secretary his first Covid jab in April.
But despite the uproar his actions caused, the decision has been taken this week not to prosecute him, we can reveal.
A Met Police Spokesman said: 'No further action will be taken against a 60-year-old man who was arrested on Monday, 19 July on suspicion of harassment and trespass on a protected site.
'The arrest related to an incident which took place on Horse Guards Avenue, Westminster on the afternoon of Tuesday, 22 June.'
Tarjanyi is still under investigation for other incidents from his obsessive campaign - and it appears that this week he travelled to and around London by train from his home in the north west despite experiencing symptoms of Covid himself.

He has told followers in a series of online videos over the last two weeks of how he's experienced an intense cough and other symptoms which could indicate he has the virus and is capable of passing it on.
He should be isolating at home but is open about making trips outside.
And he attended Hammersmith Police Station yesterday to answer bail on another charge, he has said.
The harassment of Van-Tam came three weeks after Mr Tarjanyi, who is a family DJ and producer, also targeted Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty in the street, accusing him of lying to the public.
