A homeowner has shared her fury after builders put up a 20-foot high concrete wall on the edge of her garden as part of a new housing estate.
The 'eyesore' structure towers over Sharon Everill's property in Knutton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, and according to the homeowner, came as a 'complete surprise'.
She said she knew the long-awaited Wilmot Drive development in Lower Milehouse would come up to the northern edge of her property.
However, she said she had no idea that the wall would be built and is now worried it could drive down the value of her home of more than 30 years.
The developers have offered a 'contribution' toward the cost of trees to hide the wall, but Mrs Everill said the offer isn't good enough.
