Reshuffle fever is gathering pace in Westminster with Gavin Williamson and Dominic Raab among those tipped to lose out.

Rumours have been swirling for weeks that Boris Johnson will shake up his top team this autumn.

They were fuelled by the PM repeatedly dodging questions about his intentions at a press conference last night.

Tory sources have been playing down the prospect of an overhaul taking place as early as tomorrow. Widespread fear of a reshuffle has been helpful to quell a nascent revolt against the brutal tax rises for the NHS and social care package.

The premier has been telling some MPs recently that he is unlikely to make any changes until next year.
