A 'sex addict' father-of-three who fatally stabbed his younger girlfriend before killing himself died from a neck wound, an inquest heard today.

The body of marketing officer Maddie Durdant-Hollamby, 22, was found by police at a property in Slate Drive, in Kettering shortly after 1pm on August 27 following a report of concern for her welfare.

41-year-old marketing director Benjamin Green was found alongside his younger girlfriend, and they are understood to have dated for approximately a year.

Police believe Green - whose body was also found in the same house as Ms Durdant-Hollamby - stabbed the young woman to death before turning the blade on himself in a horrifying murder-suicide.

Speaking after his death, former friends slammed marketing director Green as a misogynistic 'woman-hating sex addict' who slept with up to eight women at the same time while a married father-of-three.

Northamptonshire's Assistant Coroner Hassan Shah opened an inquest into the death of 41-year-old Mr Green, who police had said suffered self-inflicted fatal stab wounds.

At a brief hearing in Northamptonshire Coroner's Court today, Mr Shah stated the provisional cause of death was given by pathologist Michael Biggs as an incised wound to the neck, pending toxicology and histology reports.

A former friend told the Sun that 'chilling and calculated' Green would treat women as his 'property' and showed them no respect.

One said: 'He treated women as his property. I knew him for a year and there would be hundreds of women in that time.

'He had zero respect for his conquests and would be so rude to them. It
