A murder probe has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Sheffield city centre on Friday.
Officers and paramedics were called at around 4.30pm to reports that the individual had been seriously injured on Sheffield High Street.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and the and the victim was taken to hospital but died at around 5.15pm, officers said.
Detectives have closed the busy street in the South Yorkshire city as investigations continue tonight.
