London Mayor Sadiq Khan has said that ministers should make face masks on public transport compulsory again.

He said the voluntary system in England is not working and also signalled support for vaccine passports.

Mandatory rules on masks were ditched in July and fines of between £200 and £6,400 for failing to cover up were dropped.
