Trendy linen-wearing Byron Bay locals who refuse to get the Covid jab have been labelled 'nuts' for holding a 'freedom rally' despite not being in lockdown.

Stefanovic had just noted that just 31 per cent of residents over 15 in the area were vaccinated, compared to 52.7 per cent across NSW.

Mr Worland explained his daughter had a schoolies trip
