The travel blogger who turned over footage of Gabby Petito's van to the FBI and her family said the discovery of the footage gave her 'chills.'

Jenn Bethune, who runs 'Red, White and Bethune' on Youtube, said she parsed over her footage from the national park after she was tagged in a post urging anyone who had filmed or photographed the area to search for clues.

The video was captured on August 27 at Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area near Grand Tetons National Park.

'I got chills all over my body and ran straight back to my laptop, got my GoPro footage, and lo and behold Gabby's van was on there,' she told host Ainsley Earhardt today on Fox & Friends

'I am so sad that we couldn't bring her back alive, but to be able to bring her back home to her family or to help with that is everything,' Bethune said. 'It is so heartwarming that everything fell in place in order to make that happen'

Petito, 22, was reported missing on September 11 after being last seen on August 24. Her fiancé Brian Laundrie returned home to Florida on September 1 without her, and refused to cooperate with authorities and was reported missing himself on Friday.

On Sunday, FBI agents found what they believe are the remains of the missing 22-year-old near the campground in Bethune's video.

An autopsy to determine whether the remains found Sunday belong to Petito is  scheduled for tomorrow, according to the Teton County Coroner.

Bethune said that she was amazed by the resilience shown in the face of tragedy by Nicole Schmidt, Petito's mother.

'Even though it's not the best outcome, I'm happy that Gabby is home,' she told DailyMail.com. 'Nicole is absolutely amazing. Her strength is so apparent.'

Hours before the discovery was announced, Petito's family posted Bethune's YouTube video capturing the van to their Facebook page 'Find Gabby.'

'We have this video, so does the FBI,' wrote the family on the Sunday morning post. 'We believe this is the van for multiple reasons.'

'It's a very important piece of information as it pretty much starts the timeline,' Schmidt, told MailOnline. 'This new video of the actual van being seen on the 27th appears legit. That was the last location the van might have been seen. It's a huge piece of the puzzle.'

'It's essential and there might be more videos out there that people haven't even realized they have yet,' she added. 'If people were recording videos or just taking pictures, they need to start looking through their stuff.'

Bethune, who travels the country with her husband Kyle and her three children in a 1983 Silver Eagle bus that they call 'Blue Betty,' said she remembered driving past the van because of its Florida plates.

'We're from Florida and the van had Florida plates and we wanted to stop by and say hi,' Bethune said. 'But the van was very dark, closed up, looked like no activity so we ended up continuing to drive.'

'I am so sad that we couldn't bring her back alive, but to be able to bring her back home to her family or to help with that is everything,' Bethune said. 'It is so heartwarming that everything fell in place in order to make that happen.'

After turning the footage over to law enforcement, Bethune said she sought out Gabby's mother and spoke with her via FaceTime.  Bethune's son, Ethan, died in 2011 at six years old in in a tragic car accident.

'It was beautiful, we got to share some moments together on a FaceTime,' she said, when Earhardt asked about the conversation. 'Just two moms, really just have a great cry.'

In an Instagram post yesterday, before remains were recovered at the campground, Bethune wrote that she 'truly [believe[s] that Ethan is trying to help us bring Gabby home.'

'He led me to the footage we had from our go pros and I found it at 12:05am on September 19th,' she wrote. 'Today is September 19th and Ethan’s birthday. He would have turned 17 today... Birthday Ethan, you continue to amaze us even from Heaven.'
