Video has emerged of the gruesome crash scene where two children and a woman were killed in a heartbreaking accident that horrified emergency service workers.
The woman was driving an SUV with five children on board when it veered off the road and tumbled down an embankment on the New South Wales Central Coast.
Police fear one of the youngsters managed to make it out of the wreckage and stumble back to the main road, only to be tragically hit and killed by a passing car.
'There is no way to put into words what paramedics and first responders were faced with when arriving on scene,' said NSW Ambulance Chief Superintendent Brent Armitage.
