A Victorian builder and father-of-four has taken to Twitter to deliver a powerful message saying anti-lockdown protesters swarming Melbourne don't represent him.

Brenden Allen, who is also the senior coach of the Blackburn Football Club, said the tradies involved in wild anti-lockdown clashes with police were a noisy minority.

'I'm a tradesman with 21 years domestic construction. I'm fully vaccinated, complied with all restrictions and orders, my lunch room is a shaded spot and my Esky is a seat,' Mr Allen said on Tuesday.

'I work hard , I don't get entitlements or penalty rates, I work for myself. The people marching don't represent me.'

The rallies were sparked by the Victorian Government's decision to make vaccines compulsory for the construction industry after a large amount of Covid cases have been linked to building sites.

However, it appeared very few of the rioters were actually construction workers as the cause was hijacked by anti-vaxxers and far-right conspiracy theorists who mobilised on encrypted social chatrooms.

'We've been lucky and have worked most of the pandemic. But don't tar us with the same brush as that lot,' Mr Allen said.

'I've only lost five days of work to this point, potentially 19, others are far worse off. I just want to coach my football team, for my kids to play sport, and my daughter to graduate and spend a night venue hoping in the city.'

The post prompted a flood of comments with most supporting the tradie for speaking up.

'Respect mate. Hope you're back earning a quid sooner rather than later,' one person wrote.

'Well said. Two brickie sons and hubby . Not a tea room in sight . Lunch outside in freezing cold or stifling heat and they never ever complain,' added another.

'Good work mate. Shame the minority need to ruin the image for a great hard working industry,' added a third.

'I'm in the same position, fully vaxed, have complied with restrictions and done what's needed. These people in the city don't represent me,' a fourth wrote.

On Wednesday morning, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews put those who rioted on the streets of Melboburne on notice.

'Can I say at the outset that the ugly scenes that we saw yesterday are not only appalling, they're unlawful. Victoria Police will take action against those who did the wrong thing yesterday,' he said in his first public appearance since the protests.

'I think there were some people
